Not everyone is born with beautiful teeth. Crooked and misaligned teeth are known sources of self-consciousness, embarrassment and low self-esteem. There a lot of treatment options to correct teeth that are crowded or crooked including retainers, aligners and braces (invisible, metal, ceramic or micro braces). Correcting a bad bite and improperly aligned teeth (malocclusion) is important not only for aesthetic reasons but also for proper oral health and function.

Orthodontic treatment can be a great tool at any stage of life- for children, adolescents and even adults. Your age, jaw and the size of your teeth all contribute to your smile. Bite problems usually become obvious between ages 6 and 12, and orthodontic treatments often start at ages 8 and 14. But this doesn’t mean that adults aren’t good candidates for braces. Healthy teeth can be adjusted at any age. In fact, many orthodontic cases can be corrected as easily for adults as for children.

Our orthodontic treatment options include:
Damon System
The Damon system is an orthodontic treatment that uses self-ligating braces. This means that rather than attaching the arch wire to the brackets with elastic ligatures, the brackets themselves have a component that closes around the wire to keep it attached.
Metal Braces
Metal Braces are the more traditional treatment option for correcting bites and crooked teeth. Strong, stainless steel brackets, tiny rubber bands called "ligatures" or "o-rings" and wires make up these braces. Metal brackets are less expensive than other bracket types. Patients are also offered a variety of choices when it comes to the colors of the ligatures.
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic Braces are made of strong composite materials that are made to match the color of the teeth. They are less noticeable making them a popular choice among many patients. The brackets are made of ceramic or porcelain materials and the wires are made of metal alloys and deliver a constant, gentle force to move teeth.
Myobrace®System
The Myobrace®System is preventive pre-orthodontic treatment that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of crooked teeth, often without the need for braces or extraction of teeth, unlocking natural growth and development. Treatment is best suited to children aged 3 to 15 and involves using a series of removable intra-oral appliances that are worn for 1-2 hours each day plus overnight while sleeping.
